The smoked meat scene just got a little stronger in Portland with the opening of Wilson County Barbecue. Specializing in eastern North Carolina style barbecue means spicy vinegar and pepper-based sauces to drizzle on your baby back ribs, hush puppies and collard greens. In a nod to its Maine locale, Wilson County also offers a smoked lobster sandwich.
