Raise a glass to Sasha Petraske tonight. The man who opened the now closed Milk & Honey in LES in 1999 and fostered the revival of the classic cocktail and our modern cocktail culture passed away on August 21 at the age of 42. Tonight, we’re asked to enjoy one of his favorite drinks, the daiquiri, promptly at 9 p.m., the hour Milk & Honey opened each night. Attaboy, the bar opened by two of his longtime bartenders in the same space, is a good place in which to do just that.
