The Chelsea location of The Hummus & Pita Co. is now serving vegan hummus ice cream made with chickpeas, tahini and vanilla in four flavors including chocolate and banana almond. The ice cream gets the sweetness from ripe dates. After August 1, you can get it at all of their locations (Tribeca, 8th Avenue).
